Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Lead

Gillian is responsible for overseeing the Alliance’s policy and stakeholder engagement activity in line with the Operational Plan, raising the profile of the policy priorities for the Scottish cities set out in the Scottish Cities Outlook report and City Centre Recovery Taskforce Report. Gillian has specific responsibility for overseeing the Alliance’s peer-to-peer knowledge exchange programme and identifying opportunities for research and funding opportunities relative to the Alliance’s work programme. Gillian graduated from the University of Glasgow with an MSc in Global Economy and the University of Newcastle with a Master’s in International Political Economy. Prior to joining Scottish Cities Alliance, Gillian worked in research and knowledge exchange roles in higher education and has worked in a range of policy and public affairs related roles.
