Growth Framework & Investment Platforms
Dundee’s growth is underpinned by a clear, ambitious framework designed to unlock opportunity and deliver long-term impact. The Dundee Waterfront Masterplan (2001–2031) provides a strategic blueprint for regeneration, creating serviced plots, infrastructure, and vibrant public spaces along the city’s shoreline. Complementing this, the Tay Cities Region Deal brings £300 million of UK and Scottish Government funding to leverage an additional £400 million in private investment, totalling around £700 million. This programme is already delivering results, with £152 million drawn down and over 2,400 jobs created to date. Looking ahead, the Local Growth Fund (2026–2029) will inject a further £19.5 million into infrastructure, business support, and skills development, ensuring Dundee remains a competitive, connected city for decades to come.
