West Town Edinburgh is a high profile development on a gateway site at the entrance to Edinburgh Airport, Scotland’s busiest airport. West Town Edinburgh is at the heart of of Edinburgh’s strategic expansion to the west.
A tram stop at the site creates excellent links to both Edinburgh Airport and the city centre. The Edinburgh Gateway railway station (which is on the main east coast line between Edinburgh and Aberdeen) is two stops away by tram and the site is well serviced by Scotland’s motorway and trunk road network.
The recently agreed City Region Deal allocates £20 million towards supporting infrastructure in this area and work is now underway on the strategy for delivery.
