On behalf of the Alliance partners, Cllr John Alexander, Chair of the Scottish Cities Alliance has expressed his sadness at the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Cllr Alexander said “Our greatest sympathies and condolences go to the King and the Royal Family as they mourn the loss of Her Majesty the Queen. Her life was one of great dedication to public service which is rightly admired at both home and abroad.”
